Curling

Events: The US men finally got their first win in Sochi and find themselves in seventh right now at 1-2. The opponent on Thursday at 5 AM is Great Britain who currently sits in a tie for third at 3-1. After this matchup the US will have faced four of the current top six so they might have an easier end to their schedule that allows them to pick up some wins.

The women are sitting at 0-4 and in real trouble if they want to advance to the play-0ff. If the US could win out and get to 5-4 they certainly have a chance, but they will need some help as three teams are currently tied for third at 2-1. Their quest to get back into the picture begins with a 10 AM matchup with 2-1 Japan, one of those teams tied for third. Really a must win for the US.
